This policy explains what information Tattwho collects, how it's used, and how you can request that it be deleted.
Who we are
Tattwho is a mobile app that helps tattoo clients discover artists and last-minute cancellation openings, and helps tattoo artists fill those openings quickly.
Information we collect
From clients:
- Account information you provide when signing in (name, email address, and profile photo, depending on which login method you use — Google, Facebook, or Instagram)
- Location data, if you grant permission, used to show nearby shops on the map
- Which artists and shops you follow, and your notification preferences
- Payment information processed by Stripe when you place a hold or complete a booking fee (Tattwho does not store your card details — Stripe handles this directly)
- Messages or notes you submit when expressing interest in a booking
From artists:
- Instagram handle and profile information used to verify and populate your artist profile
- Portfolio images, style specialties, pricing, and booking preferences you provide
- Posting details for last-minute openings (date, time, price, style)
Automatically:
- Basic device and usage information (app version, device type) to help us fix bugs and improve the app
How we use this information
- To operate the core features of the app: showing you artists and openings, sending notifications, processing payments, and connecting clients with artists
- To improve the app and understand how it's being used
- To communicate with you about your account or bookings
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third-party services we use
- Supabase — database and backend hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google (Maps, Sign-In) — location and map features, authentication
- Facebook / Instagram (Meta) — authentication and artist profile verification
- Twilio — SMS notifications (where enabled)
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time.
